I ordered this stand for 3 reasons:
- 2 legs
-Gibraltar brand because all of my other hardware is Gibraltar and I wanted it to match
-THE CLUTCH
Firstly, it was extremely nicely packaged when it showed up. Paper wrapped individual parts, plastic cover around footboard, bubble wrap, absolutely protected. Assembling it is obviously very easy, but the spring tension adjustability is great, solid construction, and the speed clutch is incredible.
The speed clutch uses the same mechanism as pneumatic tools, which I think is the single best design choice of any clutch ever built for the gigging drummer who had to load in and load out quickly (I do not use drop clutches).
The response on the stand is perfectly adequate for busy hi hat work and has not showed me a single downside so far. I am unreasonably excited about this purchase.
[UPDATE] I have ONE (1) note for improvement. It does not have velcro or spurs on the bass plate so it slides on carpet. Solution: I bought velcro and superglue from the hardware store, cut and glued one strip to the bottom and let it set overnight, so now it's absolutely perfect.

Ich habe diesen Ständer aus drei Gründen bestellt: - 2 Beine - Marke von Gibraltar, weil meine gesamte andere Hardware von Gibraltar stammt und ich wollte, dass sie dazu passt - DIE KUPPLUNG Erstens war sie äußerst gut verpackt, als sie ankam. Mit Papier umwickelte Einzelteile, Kunststoffabdeckung um das Trittbrett, Luftpolsterfolie, absolut geschützt. Der Zusammenbau ist natürlich sehr einfach, aber die Einstellbarkeit der Federspannung ist großartig, die solide Konstruktion und die Geschwindigkeitskupplung sind unglaublich. Die Geschwindigkeitskupplung verwendet den gleichen Mechanismus wie pneumatische Werkzeuge, was meiner Meinung nach die beste Designwahl aller Kupplungen ist, die jemals für den auftretenden Schlagzeuger gebaut wurden, der schnell ein- und ausladen musste (ich verwende keine Drop-Kupplungen). Das Ansprechverhalten am Ständer ist für geschäftige Hi-Hat-Arbeiten vollkommen ausreichend und hat mir bisher keinen einzigen Nachteil aufgezeigt. Ich bin unverhältnismäßig aufgeregt über diesen Kauf. [UPDATE] Ich habe EINE (1) Anmerkung zur Verbesserung. Es hat keinen Klettverschluss oder Sporen an der Bassplatte, sodass es auf dem Teppich gleitet. Lösung: Ich habe im Baumarkt Klettband und Sekundenkleber gekauft, einen Streifen abgeschnitten und auf die Unterseite geklebt und ihn über Nacht aushärten lassen, jetzt ist er absolut perfekt.

Très bon pied de charley. Beau, bien fini, solide, facile à régler et précis.
Ses deux pieds prennent moins de place que les tripodes classiques et demeurent très stables.
